Coaching can help you to explore your options, identify goals, and figure out what you need to reach your goal. 

Workplace coaching has been shown to benefit employees by enhancing employees’ performance and skills, well-being, coping, work attitudes, and goal-directed self- regulation. (Theeboom, Beersma, & van Vianen, 2014)

THE COACHING PROCESS

 

The first thing that we will do is to clearly articulate the problem that you wish to receive coaching for. This will help you to clearly identify the outcome you want to achieve.

You will set yourself weekly goals along the way with your eye firmly on the future and not the past. Right from the first session we are going to work on  setting goals to be achieved by the next session. You decide how you want to be kept accountable.

Goal setting is vital for successful coaching. It is important that you are ready to take accountability for your own goals in reaching solutions. This is because evidence shows that focusing on solutions allows participants to reach their goals more quickly and more effectively than other methods. (Hicks & McCracken, 2010).

 

Please note: The coaching process is not therapy.

As your coach, my role is to facilitate and support you to find a workable solution. I will also keep you accountable.
